KAPITAL are excited to have supported Berlin-based Cambrium with the structuring of a portion of their €8M Seed round 🧬
The bio-climate company, co-founded by Mitchell Duffy and Charlie Cotton, have developed a proprietary protein design language, which allows them to design tailor-made proteins to drive sustainable material innovation.
This round was led by US-based Essential Capital, with participation from HOF Capital, SNR and Valor Equity Partners along with existing investors Merantix and Climate Capital.
This new funding round will enable Cambrium to accelerate their speed to impact, as they launch new molecules, new products, new markets.
Kapital helped to structure a portion of their equity financing round to simplify the closing of international investors and streamline their cap table governance working closely with Head of Finance & Operations Daria Mühlebach.
